Findlay Airport (KFDY (FDY)) is a publicly owned general aviation airport located approximately 1 mile (1.6 km) southwest of Findlay in Hancock County, Ohio, US.

Type of Facility and Operations: KFDY operates as a general aviation airport, supporting a variety of activities including recreational flight, corporate and business travel, law enforcement, medical transport, cargo, and aerial agricultural applications. The airport is open to the public and does not have a control tower. It provides essential services such as aviation fuel (Jet A and 100LL), aircraft ground handling, parking, and hangar leasing/sales. A passenger terminal and lounge are also available. The City of Findlay owns and operates the airport.

Notable Features or History: Activated in October 1937, the airport was initially known as Rummel Airport. It was leased by the Ohio Oil Company (later Marathon Oil Company) in 1933 and subsequently renamed Findlay Airport. Marathon Oil Company operated the airport until 1993, after which the City of Findlay assumed ownership and operation in 1995 or 1996. In 2022, Findlay Airport received nearly $2 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation to construct a new aircraft parking area, enhance drainage, and upgrade pavement markings, as well as improve the tie-down apron and taxilane. The airport also periodically hosts community events, such as the Findlay Air Expo, which has featured WWII-era aircraft and exhibits.

Current Status: Findlay Airport spans 338 acres at an elevation of 813 feet (248 meters). It features two asphalt runways: Runway 18/36, measuring 6,499 by 100 feet (1,981 by 30 meters), and Runway 7/25, measuring 5,883 by 100 feet (1,793 by 30 meters). As of July 15, 2021, the airport recorded 24,550 annual aircraft operations, with general aviation accounting for 98% of these, and had 26 based aircraft. A fixed-base operator (FBO) is on-site, providing various aviation services. The airport is attended Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
