Fares are regulated, with supplements for airport pickup, luggage, and nighttime travel. The journey to popular southern resorts like Playa de las Américas or Costa Adeje takes approximately 15-20 minutes.
Several car rental companies have desks located inside the arrivals hall. Options include major international brands like Hertz, Avis, and Sixt, as well as popular local companies such as Cicar and AutoReisen. It is highly recommended to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak tourist seasons. Car collection points are situated in the airport's car park.
The public bus service, operated by TITSA, is an affordable and efficient option. The bus stop is located on the ground floor, outside the arrivals area. Key routes include:
- Route 111: Connects to the capital, Santa Cruz, and the main southern resorts of Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje.
- Route 711: A night bus service following a similar path to the 111.
- Route 40: A direct route connecting the airport with Costa Adeje and Los Cristianos.

Jet2 flight LS918 from Tenerife South to Manchester, UK shows as "departed as scheduled at 14:05" on 12 March. However, the flight has still not departed as I write this comment at 20:48!!!!!!
