On-demand taxi services are available 24/7 at designated areas on the Arrivals level (Doors 1, 9, and 15). All taxis are licensed and fares are metered, with a trip to downtown Calgary typically costing between $40 and $50. Rideshare services like Uber and Lyft also operate from the airport with designated pickup zones at the Arrivals level (Doors 3, 12, and 17).
The Rental Car Centre is located on the Departures Level, across the roadway from the domestic terminal. It houses major on-site rental companies including Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. Several off-site rental agencies are also available and can be reached via courtesy shuttles.
Calgary Transit provides two main bus routes from the airport. Route 300 BRT (Bus Rapid Transit) is an express service that travels directly to downtown Calgary. Route 100 connects to the McKnight-Westwinds CTrain (LRT) station, allowing for transfers to the city's light rail system. Bus stops are located on the Arrivals level at Pillars 7 and 32.
Lack of seats in U.S terminal for passengers waiting to board. Pity because there is enough room to double the seating capacity in the terminal.

A well-laid out airport, acceptable length of security lines, and the prices at the restaurants are basically the same as off-airport. Parking is free for the first 30 minutes - a wonderful bonus when just dropping by to pick up a passenger.
