China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu (ICAO: CJT) is a regional branch of the major Chinese carrier, China Eastern Airlines, operating primarily out of Nanjing.

China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu Company, a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines Corporation Limited (which holds approximately 62.56% to 63% equity), was established in May 1993 to manage air connections within the Jiangsu region. Its operational scope has expanded over the years to include a significant presence in both domestic and international air travel.

The main operational base for China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu is centered around Nanjing Lukou International Airport, from which it operates a substantial portion of international and regional flights. Additionally, the airline launched a base in Changzhou in January 2018, further solidifying its regional footprint. The parent company, China Eastern Airlines, operates major hubs in Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG) and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA), along with regional hubs in cities like Xi'an and Kunming.

As of 2018, the fleet of China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu comprised 61 aircraft, primarily consisting of Airbus A319s, A320s, and A321s. China Eastern Airlines, as the parent company, operates a much larger and more diverse fleet of over 800 aircraft, including a mix of Airbus (A319, A320, A321, A330, A350), Boeing (737, 787, 777-300ER), and domestically produced Comac (ARJ21-700, C919) aircraft. The route network for China Eastern Airlines Jiangsu initially focused on domestic cargo and passenger services, including routes to Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. By October 2025, it had increased its international and regional routes to 15, covering 13 destinations with 89 weekly flights from Nanjing, including a direct flight to Paris, demonstrating a recovery to pre-pandemic international service levels. China Eastern Airlines is a member of the SkyTeam Alliance, which extends its global network to over 1,000 destinations in 160 countries and regions. Notable cabin classes offered under the China Eastern brand typically include First Class, Business Class, and Economy Class, providing varying levels of comfort, privacy, in-flight entertainment, and dining experiences.
