Wizz Air launched three-weekly nonstop service between M. R. Štefánik Airport Bratislava (BTS) and Ben Gurion International Airport Tel Aviv (TLV) on May 28, 2026. Flights operate on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays using an Airbus A321neo with a capacity of 239 passengers, flight number W6 7061.
The service was originally scheduled to begin in late March 2026 but was postponed due to the security situation in the Middle East, according to Bratislava Airport. With conditions stabilizing, the route has now launched. Aviation Week's Routes 360 W/C May 25 highlighted the launch as a key development of the week.
Bratislava is one of Wizz Air's oldest bases; the carrier celebrated its 10th anniversary at the airport in March 2026 and is Slovakia's largest airline. Wizz Air operates Tel Aviv services from multiple Central and Eastern European bases, reflecting sustained Skyscanner demand from Israeli and Slovak traveler segments in both directions.
The route covers 2,329 km (1,447 miles) in approximately 3 hours 30 minutes. Live fares on the Wizz Air website confirm availability for Bratislava–Tel Aviv from June 1 onward, with one-way Economy fares starting from €60. The return Tel Aviv–Bratislava service is also on sale, confirming the route is fully operational in both directions.
