The service uses a Boeing 737-800 in an all-economy configuration of approximately 189 seats, per aviation.direct. Sivas is the provincial capital of Sivas Province in Central Anatolia. Previously, passengers from the Cologne and North Rhine-Westphalia area needing to reach Sivas were required to connect via Istanbul Sabiha Gokçen or Ankara, adding considerable travel time.
