Raivavae Airport (IATA: RVV, ICAO: NTAV) is the sole airfield serving the remote island of Raivavae, a part of the Austral Islands archipelago in French Polynesia. It functions as a vital lifeline, providing the primary means of transport for residents, essential supplies, and the small number of tourists who visit this secluded destination. Flights are not daily, typically running a few times per week on turboprop aircraft suited for the short runway. The passenger volume is low, reflecting the island's small population and limited tourism infrastructure. The airport facilities are minimal and functional, designed to handle the modest traffic. The terminal consists of a single, small, open-air building that provides basic shelter, a check-in counter, a waiting area with seating, and restrooms. There are no retail shops, restaurants, or passenger lounges available.

For travelers, advance planning is essential. The mandatory boat transfer between the airport motu and the main island must be arranged prior to arrival, typically through one’s local accommodation or pension. It is advisable to bring your own water and snacks, as no concessions are available at the terminal. Passengers should arrive for check-in according to the airline's recommendation, as the infrequent flight schedule means a missed flight can cause significant delays. As all air travel to Raivavae connects through Papeete, travelers should allow ample time for their connections at Faa'ā International Airport.
