Nanchong Gaoping Airport (IATA: NAO, ICAO: ZUNC) is the primary aviation hub serving the city of Nanchong in northeastern Sichuan province, China. Functioning as a key regional link, it connects the city to major economic and cultural centers across the country. It officially commenced operations in May 2004, having been constructed to replace the city's older, dual-use airport. Major Chinese carriers, including Air China, China Southern Airlines, and Sichuan Airlines, operate regular flights connecting Nanchong to key destinations such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, and Chengdu. Before the global travel downturn, the airport's passenger volume reflected its regional importance, handling over 1.5 million passengers in 2019. The facility consists of a single, functional terminal building designed for efficient passenger flow. Inside, travelers will find essential amenities including check-in counters, security screening areas, a main departure lounge, and a limited selection of retail shops and food concessions.

For a smooth travel experience, passengers are advised to arrive at the airport 90 minutes to two hours prior to their flight's scheduled departure time.
