The airport has a government-run, pre-paid taxi counter located outside the arrivals hall. It offers fixed, non-negotiable fares to destinations across Goa. Renting a self-drive car or a scooter/motorbike is a popular option in Goa. Several local and national rental agencies have counters or representatives at the airport. It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially during peak season. A valid driving license and, for foreign nationals, an International Driving Permit are required.
The most budget-friendly option is the state-run Kadamba Transport Corporation (KTC) electric shuttle bus service. These air-conditioned buses connect the airport to major towns like Panjim, Margao, and Calangute. The bus stop is located just outside the terminal building. There is no direct train or metro connection from the airport.
