The airport was permanently closed between 2012 and 2014. Analysis of historical satellite imagery shows a well-defined grass runway in 2011. By 2012, agricultural planting began on the southern portion of the runway, and by 2014, the entire airstrip area was converted to cropland.
Economic reasons, specifically the conversion of the land for agricultural purposes. The property was repurposed for what appears to be a vineyard or orchard, a common and high-value use for land in Oregon's Willamette Valley. This is a frequent fate for small, private airfields located in fertile regions.
The site is no longer an airport and is in active agricultural use. The land where the runway was located has been fully converted into a vineyard or orchard. On current satellite imagery, the faint, straight-line outline of the former runway is still discernible beneath the rows of crops, but the site is physically and legally no longer an aviation facility.
Abba's Airport was a small, private-use airfield. It consisted of a single unpaved, north-south grass runway measuring approximately 1,800 feet in length. There are no known plans or prospects for reopening Abba's Airport. The complete and costly conversion of the land to high-value agriculture makes any potential return to aviation use extremely improbable and economically unfeasible.
Reply to @david: Also, Airnav lists different runway lengths for the two runways. I'd suggest that maybe they used to be one and were cut in half - that would explain the remark about the ditch at one end of the runway.

Several sources state that Abba's Airport and Bushnell Airport http://www.ourairports.com/airports/5OR2/ are two separate airports, though a labeled photo on airnav.com suggests that they might share their runway across two properties. Does anyone have more information?
