🇺🇸 Corvallis Municipal Airport

Corvallis Municipal Airport (KCVO) is a public general aviation facility located five miles southwest of Corvallis, Oregon, covering 1,490 acres.

Notable Features and History: The airport was originally built as Corvallis Army Airfield during World War II for bomber training, and its original hangar is still in use. Airline flights began in 1947 and continued until 1973. The airport is owned by the City of Corvallis and is fully self-funded, generating revenue from rents, fuel sales, and grass seed sales.

Facilities and Operations: KCVO has two asphalt runways: 17/35, measuring 5,900 by 150 feet, and 10/28, measuring 3,100 by 75 feet. It offers full-service and self-serve 100LL and Jet A fuel, as well as major airframe and engine repair services.
