Tallman East Airport

Tallman East Airport was a private general aviation airfield established between 1979 and 1982 by the Tallman family, who were prominent in the local aviation community and also operated the original Tallman Airport (which later became Bendigo Airport). It featured a single unpaved turf runway (Runway 9/27) measuring approximately 2,200 feet. The airport's operations were limited to serving local private pilots with small, single-engine aircraft suitable for short, unprepared landing strips. It was a characteristic example of a rural, private-use American airfield.

There are no known plans or prospects for reopening Tallman East Airport. The land remains in private ownership, and the airport has been permanently closed and absent from official aviation charts for over a decade, making its revival highly unlikely.
