Glenn's Helo Heliport

The heliport was closed at the owner's discretion. As a private-use facility (FAA Identifier: PA83) located at a private residence, its operational status was entirely dependent on the owner, Glenn R. Moyer. Closures of such facilities are typically due to personal reasons, such as the owner selling the aircraft, no longer wishing to maintain the facility's registration, or a change in property ownership. There is no evidence to suggest the closure was due to an accident, economic pressures on a public facility, or military conversion.

The site is currently part of a private residential property. Satellite imagery of the coordinates shows a clearing in a wooded area adjacent to a house. A circular, grassy area where the helipad was located is still visible but appears to be an integrated part of the lawn. The site is not in use as an active heliport and there are no aviation markings or infrastructure remaining.

Glenn's Helo Heliport had no major historical significance in a public or commercial sense. It was a small, private-use heliport serving its owner. When active, its operations were limited to the personal flights of the owner's helicopter. The facility consisted of a 40x40 foot turf landing pad located on a residential property at 100 Geigertown Road. It was not open to the public and did not handle any commercial, cargo, or military traffic.

There are no known plans or prospects for reopening Glenn's Helo Heliport. As it is on private residential land, any potential reopening would be solely at the discretion of the current property owner and would require a new registration and certification process with the FAA. Given its history as a personal-use facility, there is no public or commercial incentive for its reactivation.
