Taxis and private transfer shuttles are readily available outside the terminal building, timed to meet arriving flights. The journey to the center of Puerto Natales is approximately 10-15 minutes. Shuttles can often be pre-booked online or arranged upon arrival.
Several car rental companies, including international brands like Avis and Hertz as well as local agencies, have desks inside the airport terminal. It is highly recommended to reserve a vehicle in advance, especially during the peak tourist season (December-February), as supply is limited.
There is no regular municipal public bus service that connects the airport to Puerto Natales. The primary shared transit options are the private shuttle services (transfers) that drop passengers off at various hotels and locations within the town.
Puerto Natales is a not a good airport, the line streched out of the airport and it took us 2 hours to get to the plane.
