Taxis are available at the designated taxi stand located outside Gate 3 on the 1st floor (Arrivals). Both standard and jumbo taxis are available for individuals or larger groups. Fares are metered, and payment can be made with cash, credit cards, or a local T-money transportation card. It's a convenient option for direct travel to your destination.
Renting a car is a very popular and recommended way to explore Jeju Island. The rental car companies are not inside the main terminal; they are located in the 'Rental Car House' across the street from the arrivals hall. After completing paperwork at the counter, a shuttle bus will take you to a nearby lot to pick up your vehicle. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is mandatory for most foreign visitors, in addition to your original driver's license and passport. Booking in advance is highly advised.
The airport is well-connected by an extensive public bus network, which is the most affordable option. Bus stops are located outside Gate 2 on the 1st floor (Arrivals). Key options include the Airport Limousine Bus (e.g., #600), which serves major hotels and tourist resorts in Seogwipo and Jungmun, and numerous city buses that connect to Jeju City and other parts of the island. You can pay with a T-money card, cash, or credit card.

Do individual airlines update their flight listings? I am curious since I am in Jeju and was just informed by China Eastern Air via text that the airport is CLOSED at least until noon!
