Taxis are readily available 24/7 outside the arrivals hall. In addition to local private taxis, popular ride-hailing services like Uber and Careem operate from the airport, which can be booked via their mobile apps. For local taxis, it is recommended to negotiate and agree upon the fare before starting your trip.
Several local car rental companies have counters inside the arrivals area or offer services that can be pre-booked online. Both self-drive and chauffeur-driven options are available, with the latter being a very common choice for visitors. Booking in advance is advisable to ensure vehicle availability and better rates.
There are no dedicated public bus or train routes that directly serve the Multan International Airport terminal. The most economical public transport option is the auto-rickshaw, which can be found just outside the main airport entrance and can take you to various locations within the city.
June, 2015 Multan airport has been announced as international and and in 2 months time, we can see multiple airlines started direct international flight such as. I believe more and more will airlines will follow due to the no. of people travelling from Multan and surrounding cities.
Cargo business is another benefits for gov.

Flydubai (Dubai)
AirBlue (Jeddah, Madinah)
Shaheen Air (Jeddah)
I believe there is nothing to say about its appreciation but i would suggest it should be international in real as i don't think any international flights are flying from Multan. I think the reason being is there is no load of people flying to or from Multan. But being a city that is famous for mangoes specially and for it's sweet called sohan halwa there has need to make it international so that we could transport them easily without any hassle of sending them to big cities like lahore, islamabad or karachi. Finally i would like to say Multan is the biggest city in the southern Punjab. Surrounded by many well known cities like Bahawalpur, khanewal, muzafargarh,D.G khan and many others so taking all those cities into notice and looking at their population we should think there needs to have some real International Airport. So the people will not have to travel all the way to Lahore, islamabad or karachi and they will fly right from their neighbouring city.
