Official airport taxis are available 24/7 outside the arrivals terminal. The journey to the city center and the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) takes approximately 20-30 minutes. Car rental desks are located within the arrivals hall. A variety of international and local companies operate at the airport, including Hertz, Avis, Budget, Sixt, and Yelo. SAPTCO (Saudi Public Transport Company) operates an airport bus service that connects the airport to the central area of Medina, with a main stop near the Prophet's Mosque.
