Fares are metered, but fixed rates are often available for common destinations like Trieste, Udine, and Grado.

Rental Cars

Car rental desks for major international and local companies (including Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and Maggiore) are located in the arrivals hall. After completing the paperwork, vehicles are collected from a dedicated car park a short walk from the terminal. Booking in advance is highly recommended, especially during peak season.

Public Transportation

The airport is an intermodal hub with integrated train and bus services.

Train: The Trieste Airport railway station is connected to the terminal by a 425-meter covered walkway. Trenitalia trains offer frequent, direct connections to Trieste, Venice, Udine, and the wider Italian rail network.

Bus: A bus station is located just outside the arrivals hall. The main route, bus line G51 (operated by TPL FVG), connects the airport with Trieste and Monfalcone. Other lines serve regional destinations like Udine and Grado. Tickets can be purchased from automated machines in the terminal.
