Taxi services are available 24/7 on the ground level of the terminal. Designated taxi stands are located outside doors 1A, 2A, and 7A. Major local providers include Yellow Cab, Ute Cab, and City Cab. Rental car companies are located in the Gateway Center, which is a short walk from the terminal building. After collecting your luggage, follow the signs to the rental car lobby via a covered pedestrian walkway. On-site agencies include Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty.
The Utah Transit Authority (UTA) connects the airport to the city. The TRAX light rail Green Line station is located on the ground level on the east side of the terminal (outside door 1A). The Green Line provides direct service to downtown Salt Lake City, with trains running every 15 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. UTA bus service is also available at the same location.
