Several local taxi companies serve the airport, and their vehicles are typically available outside the baggage claim area. It is advisable to call ahead for service, especially for late-night arrivals. Ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft also operate at BGM.
Car rental counters are located inside the terminal building in the baggage claim area. Companies operating at the airport include Avis, Budget, and Hertz. Booking a vehicle in advance is highly recommended.
There is no direct public bus service (BC Transit) to the Greater Binghamton Airport terminal. Travelers needing to use public transportation would first have to take a taxi or ride-share to a nearby bus stop.
The customs fee is $25 for a piston single or $50 for a piston twin (with landing fee waived). More information here:

Binghamton is a Customs User Fee airport. I haven't called to find out what the fee is, but you can clear in Syracuse, Watertown, or Alexandria Bay for free coming from Canada.
