Official airport taxis (black cabs) are available 24/7 from the rank directly outside the terminal building's east end. Pre-booked private hire vehicles and ride-sharing services like Uber use a dedicated Pick-Up Zone located on the ground floor of the multi-storey car park.
A dedicated Car Rental Centre is located a short, covered walk from the main terminal. Major international and local companies operate here, including Avis, Hertz, Europcar, Sixt, Enterprise, and National. It's recommended to book in advance for the best rates.
Edinburgh Airport is well-connected by public transport.
- Trams: Edinburgh Trams run frequently from a stop just outside the main terminal, connecting the airport to the city centre (Princes Street, St Andrew Square) and Leith. The journey to the city centre takes approximately 30 minutes.
- Buses: Several bus services are available. The Airlink 100 is an express service to the city centre (Waverley Bridge). Skylink buses (200, 300, 400) connect the airport to other parts of Edinburgh and surrounding areas like North and South Edinburgh, Ocean Terminal, and Fort Kinnaird. Lothian Buses also operate a night bus service (N22).
Edinburgh Airport is an airport located in the Ingliston area of Edinburgh, Scotland. It was the busiest airport in Scotland in 2019, handling over 14.7 million passengers.
