Taxis are available at the taxi rank located directly in front of the terminal building. They provide service to Memmingen city center, the main train station, and other regional destinations. Pre-booking with local companies is also an option.
Several major car rental companies, including Sixt, Hertz, Europcar, and Avis/Budget, have service desks inside the airport terminal. It is advisable to book a vehicle in advance, especially during peak seasons, to secure availability and better pricing.
Bus services are the primary public transit option, departing from stops in front of the terminal. Local buses (Lines 2 and 810/811) connect the airport with Memmingen's central train station (Bahnhof/ZOB). Long-distance coach services, such as Allgäu Airport Express and Flixbus, offer direct routes to major cities like Munich, Nuremberg, and Zurich, as well as to popular ski resorts.
Don´t go there with N reg unless you have a noice certificate from EU country....instead of the promised "80-90 €," it cost me 282!
Order the bus in advance and it is there....otherwise, city bus to train and train direct to Munich every hour.
Is it possible to get a bus from the airport to Munich? If not can you make a suggestion using public transport.
