Taxis are available directly outside the terminal building. Central Valley Taxi is the licensed provider for the airport. Ride-hailing services like Uber and Lyft also operate at YXX, with designated pick-up areas.
Car rental counters are conveniently located inside the terminal building, across from the domestic baggage claim area. Companies operating on-site include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National.
The airport is served by the Central Fraser Valley Transit System (BC Transit). Route 21 (Aldergrove/Abbotsford) stops outside the terminal and connects passengers to the Highstreet Shopping Centre, a major transit hub for transfers to other routes within Abbotsford and the region.

What a terrible shame that there is no memorial to the thousands of service personnel who trained under the BCATP in the early years of WW11 at this airport.
Did my training here. Great training airport and excellent tower staff that were very facilitating and patient. Good place for IFR training too.
