On-demand taxi service is available 24/7 from the designated taxi stand located outside the arrivals area (Door 4) of the terminal building. United Class Cabs is the primary licensed provider for the airport. Pre-booking is also available directly with local taxi companies.
Several car rental agencies have counters conveniently located in the arrivals hall of the terminal building. Options include Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National. It is highly recommended to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak travel seasons.
The airport is connected to the city by the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo (RMWB) Transit service. Route 11 provides daily service between the airport, downtown Fort McMurray, and Keyano College. The bus stop is located on the curb outside the terminal building.
Reply to @FortMc: thanks for the link. It looks interesting, though I think the architect who made the 3D model might have been over-optimistic about how many airliners would be on the ramp at once. :)

Here are the plans for the new airport http://fortmc.ca/general-discussion/new-fort-mcmurray-airport-ymm-flyby-t42.html
This airport is running at 8 times planned capacity because of the oil boom. There's a new terminal and new runway planned, among other changes:
