Several car rental companies, including international brands like Avis and Budget, have service desks inside the airport terminal. It is highly recommended to book a vehicle in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability upon arrival.
There is no formal, dedicated airport bus service. However, public mini-buses run frequently along the main road (Kukum Highway), which is a short walk from the terminal. This is a very cheap option but may be crowded and is not ideal for those with large luggage.

Reply to @Ozguy: It really needs TLC. Yesterday 18 Aug 2015, the toilets were broken, smelly and unclean. In the departures terminal the toilets were too foul to use. An airport is a major gateway to any country. As the Solomons tries to improve its image, it should start with the airport.
Needs some TLC.
