Republic Airways (ICAO: RPA) is a prominent regional airline in North America, known for operating flights on behalf of major U.S. carriers. It serves a wide network of destinations across the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

Republic Airways Holdings, Inc. traces its origins to Chautauqua Airlines, established in 1973 in Jamestown, New York, by Joel and Gloria Hall. The company formally organized as Republic Airways Holdings in 1998, with its headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana, later announcing a move to Carmel, Indiana. Over the years, Republic expanded through strategic mergers, including the integration of Shuttle America in 2017. More recently, the merger with Mesa Airlines, finalized in November 2025, further solidified Republic's position as a major regional player, making the combined entity the world's largest operator of Embraer 170 and 175 aircraft.

Republic Airways operates as a regional affiliate for American Airlines (as American Eagle), Delta Air Lines (as Delta Connection), and United Airlines (as United Express). Its main operational bases and hubs include Boston, Chicago–O'Hare, Columbus–Glenn, Indianapolis, Louisville, Newark, New York–LaGuardia, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Washington–National. The airline's route network is regionally focused, offering scheduled passenger service with over 1,300 daily flights to more than 100 cities across the U.S., Canada, the Caribbean, and Mexico.

The airline operates an exclusive fleet of Embraer 170 and Embraer 175 regional jets. These aircraft are known for their efficiency and passenger comfort in the regional jet category. While Republic Airways itself is not a member of a global airline alliance, its operations are intrinsically linked to the major alliances through its partners: American Airlines (Oneworld), Delta Air Lines (SkyTeam), and United Airlines (Star Alliance).
