AeroLogic GmbH is a German cargo airline established on September 12, 2007, as a joint venture between Deutsche Post DHL and Lufthansa Cargo. The airline commenced scheduled operations on June 29, 2009. AeroLogic holds its own Air Operator's Certificate (AOC) and traffic rights, managing all aspects of its airline operations, including aircraft and crew. Its ownership is equally split, with a 50/50 stake held by DHL Express (a subsidiary of Deutsche Post DHL Group) and Lufthansa Cargo (a subsidiary of Deutsche Lufthansa AG), allowing for efficient integration into their global logistics networks.
The airline's primary operational hub and headquarters are located at Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ) in Schkeuditz, Germany. It also operates out of Frankfurt Airport (FRA). AeroLogic operates an exclusive fleet of Boeing 777F freighter aircraft, designed for long-haul cargo operations. As of November 2025, the fleet comprises 28 Boeing 777F aircraft, all actively serving from its main hub.
AeroLogic's route network focuses on international, long-haul cargo services, connecting Europe, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the Middle East, and Asia. As of the Winter 2025/2026 schedule, the airline serves 35 destinations worldwide, including key cargo hubs in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. During weekdays, its freighters primarily operate within the express network for DHL Express, transporting time-sensitive international cargo. On weekends, AeroLogic's services are dedicated to Lufthansa Cargo, handling valuable items such as medicines, perishables, and general cargo. As a dedicated cargo airline, AeroLogic does not offer passenger services, and therefore, does not have alliance memberships (like Star Alliance, SkyTeam, or Oneworld) or cabin classes. Its notable services revolve around providing efficient and reliable air freight, including charter services for specific cargo needs.
