Hattiesburg Bobby L. Chain Municipal Airport (KHBG (HBG)) is a public-use general aviation facility located five miles southeast of downtown Hattiesburg, Mississippi, in Forrest County. Owned by the City of Hattiesburg, the airport serves corporate, military, and general aviation operations. It does not offer scheduled commercial airline service, which is handled by the Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport.

The airport features one asphalt runway, designated 13/31, measuring 6,094 by 150 feet (1,857 x 46 m). Operations are conducted during daylight hours, and the airport does not have an air traffic control (ATC) tower. Fuel and other services are provided by an on-field fixed-base operator (FBO), Southeast Aviation Services, Inc.

Established in 1930, the airport played a significant historical role during World War II when it was leased by the U.S. Army Air Corps in 1941 and operated as Hattiesburg Army Air Field. During this period, substantial construction occurred, including runways, hangars, and a control tower, to support increased combat groups. Military activities concluded in early 1945, and the airport returned to full civil control in April 1946. While it briefly had commercial airline service with Delta and Southern Airways starting in 1948, these services relocated to the new Hattiesburg-Laurel Regional Airport in 1974.

Currently, Hattiesburg Bobby L. Chain Municipal Airport remains a crucial part of southern Mississippi's transportation network, catering to business, military, and general aviation needs.
