Jim Hamilton L.B. Owens Airport (KCUB), also known as Owens Field, is a county-owned public-use airport located two nautical miles south of the central business district of Columbia, in Richland County, South Carolina, United States. The airport, originally named Columbia Municipal Airport, was dedicated on April 24, 1930, and served as Columbia's main municipal airport prior to World War II. It hosted notable aviators and personalities, including Amelia Earhart and President Franklin D. Roosevelt. During World War II, it was utilized by the Army Air Forces Third Air Force as a training field for reconnaissance and observation pilots, and also served Fort Jackson and the United States Navy. After the war, it was renamed Owens Field in honor of Mayor Lawrence B. Owens, a strong proponent of the municipal airport. In 2008, the airport was renamed Jim Hamilton–L.B. Owens Airport to honor former airport manager Jim Hamilton. A notable feature is its Curtiss-Wright Hangar, built in 1929, which is listed in the National Register and has housed a restored B-25 bomber. Its downtown location in Columbia's Rosewood neighborhood makes it a significant business gateway. The airport has an annual economic impact exceeding $16 million and generates over $210,000 in tax revenues for the city and county. It has one asphalt runway, designated 13/31, measuring 5,011 by 75 feet (1,527 x 23 m).

Currently, the airport is operational and open to the public, continuing to serve the general aviation community of Columbia and the Midlands. It operates 24 hours a day, with attendance from 0600 to 2200. As of May 4, 2026, there were no active NOTAMs, and the flight category was Visual Flight Rules (VFR). The facility is a division of the Richland County Public Works department and features an 8,200 sq. ft. business center.
