Crete Municipal Airport supports general aviation activities, offering services such as aircraft rental, sales, training, airframe and engine repair, and pilot instruction. It provides fuel (100LL and Jet-A), hangars, and tie-downs. The airport also has various instrument approaches, including GPS and VOR/DME. In a recent development, the City of Crete assumed legal authority to manage and operate the airport in early 2023 to ensure its continued existence and success after it became debt-free, which under state statute, could have led to its closure.
