Blair Executive Airport (KBTA) is a public-use civil airport located approximately seven miles south of Blair, Nebraska, in Washington County. Owned by the Blair Airport Authority, the airport does not have a control tower and is considered a midsized facility.
The airport features a single concrete runway, designated 13/31, measuring 4,201 feet long and 100 feet wide (1,280 m x 30 m), equipped with medium intensity edge lights, PAPI on both ends, and REIL on runway 31. Its elevation is 1,318 feet.
KBTA supports general aviation, including private flying and flight training, and offers full-service Fixed-Base Operator (FBO) amenities through SkyWerx Aviation. Available services include fuel (100LL and Jet-A), a pilot lounge, flight planning room, and complimentary crew car, along with RNAV (GPS) instrument approaches. Amenities like an executive lounge, conference rooms, and rental cars are also available. The Omaha Police Department's Air Support Unit has operated from the airport since June 2019, and glider activity occurs in the vicinity.
Historically, the current airport site was purchased by the city of Blair in 1996 as Eagle Airfield (K46), replacing an older municipal airport. Its name was changed from "Municipal" to "Executive" in 2022 for marketing purposes. The current facility was activated in November 1961.
