Taxis

Official taxis are available 24/7 at the designated taxi stand located outside the arrivals hall. A trip to the city center (e.g., Zhongshan Square) typically takes 20-30 minutes and costs around 40-60 CNY, depending on traffic. All official taxis are metered. It is advisable to have your destination written in Chinese to show the driver.

Rental Cars

Several car rental agencies, including major Chinese companies like China Auto Rental (CAR Inc.) and eHi, have service counters in the terminal. Please note: To rent and drive a car in China, foreigners are generally required to have a Chinese driver's license. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is typically not sufficient on its own. Chauffeur services are a common alternative.

Public Transportation

The airport is well-connected to the city's public transport network.

- Metro: Dalian Metro Line 2 has a station (Zhoushuizi Airport Station) directly connected to the terminal building. It provides a fast and inexpensive way to reach the city center, including key areas like Qingniwaqiao and Zhongshan Square.

- Airport Shuttle Bus: Multiple shuttle bus routes operate from the airport to various key destinations across Dalian, such as the Dalian Railway Station, major hotels, and commercial districts. Tickets are sold at a designated counter in the arrivals hall.
