Jiaxing Nanhu Airport (ZSJX / JNH), formerly Jiaxing Air Base, is a dual-use military and civilian airport located in Xiuzhou, Hangzhou, CN. • Modern Facilities: The airport is planned to have a 25,700 to 25,900 square-meter terminal building spread over three floors, capable of accommodating large aircraft such as Boeing 747s and Airbus A340s. The terminal's metal roof is designed in the shape of Jiaxing's city flower, the azalea, and will feature glass curtain walls.
• Structured Terminal Layout: The ground floor will handle arrivals, including remote departure and arrival halls, baggage claim, a reception hall, and a VIP area. The third floor will be the departure level, housing the departure hall, check-in counters, security check area, and near-gate waiting lounges, with six boarding gates in total.
• Strategic Location: Positioned approximately 8-10 kilometers from Jiaxing city center, the airport aims to serve as "Shanghai's third airport" and "Hangzhou's second airport" due to its proximity to both major cities within a one-hour accessible radius.
• Comprehensive Transportation Network: The airport is intended to be integrated into a broader "air-rail-water-land" transportation network, with high-speed, railway, and high-grade waterway connections.
• Domestic Flight Routes: Initial plans include 12 domestic passenger routes connecting Jiaxing directly to major Chinese cities such as Beijing Daxing, Shenyang, Harbin, Xi'an, Chongqing, and Chengdu.
