Taxis are readily available at a designated stand outside the arrivals terminal. Fares are metered. The airport is located in Cheng County (成县), making a taxi ride to the local town center relatively short. A trip to Longnan's main urban center, Wudu District (武都区), is a much longer journey, taking approximately 1.5 to 2 hours.
Car rental services are available, primarily from major Chinese companies. It is strongly recommended to book your vehicle in advance. Note for international visitors: a valid Chinese driver's license is required to rent and drive a car in mainland China. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is generally not accepted for self-drive rentals.
Airport shuttle buses, known as the Airport Express Line (机场快线), are the main form of public transport. There are dedicated routes connecting the airport with key destinations, including a local line to the Cheng County Bus Station and a long-distance line to Longnan's Wudu District. The bus schedules are typically coordinated with flight arrivals and departures.
