Taxis

Official taxi stands are located outside the arrivals hall of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. A metered trip to downtown Shijiazhuang (approx. 35-40 km) typically costs 100-120 CNY and takes 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic. It is highly recommended to use the official queue and ensure the driver uses the meter to avoid overcharging.

Rental Cars

Major Chinese car rental companies like China Auto Rental (CAR Inc.) and eHi Car Services have service counters in the arrivals hall. Pre-booking online is recommended. Note that foreign visitors typically need a valid Chinese driver's license to rent a car in China, as an International Driving Permit (IDP) alone is often not sufficient.

Public Transportation

The airport is well-connected by both bus and high-speed rail.

- Airport Shuttle Buses: Multiple bus routes connect the airport to key locations in downtown Shijiazhuang, including the main Shijiazhuang Railway Station and the Civil Aviation Hotel. Tickets cost approximately 20 CNY per person. Buses are frequent and generally operate from the first to the last flight of the day.

- High-Speed Rail: The Zhengding Airport Railway Station (正定机场站) is located near the airport and is connected to the terminals by a free, 5-10 minute shuttle bus ride. This station is on the Beijing-Guangzhou High-Speed Railway line, offering fast and convenient train access to Beijing, Baoding, Xingtai, and the main Shijiazhuang Railway Station in the city center.
