A dedicated taxi rank is located directly outside the terminal building. Mildura Taxis is the primary service provider, and their vehicles meet all arriving flights. Pre-booking is also available.
Several major car rental companies have service desks inside the terminal, located in the arrivals area. Options include Avis, Budget, Hertz, and Thrifty. Booking in advance is highly recommended.
There are no direct public bus or train services operating to or from the Mildura Airport terminal. Travelers needing to connect to the local public transport network must first take a taxi or rideshare into the city centre.
Work has began to lengthened the current 9/27 runway from 1,830m to 2,200m & the surface is also going to be thickened to allow for heavier aircraft there is also talk about the airport having a tower installed due to increases traffic.
Beautiful new terminal with excellent cafe, toilets and plane parking. Mildura is a great spot for a weekend getaway all year round. Have been there a few times and will certainly be back.
