A dedicated taxi rank is located directly outside the terminal building. Coffs Harbour Taxis (13cabs) is the primary service provider. Rideshare services such as Uber are also available for pick-up and drop-off at the airport.
Several major car rental companies have service desks inside the arrivals area of the terminal. These include Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, and Thrifty. It is highly recommended to book your vehicle in advance, especially during peak travel seasons.
There are no public bus services that run directly to the Coffs Harbour Airport terminal. The nearest bus stop is located on Hogbin Drive, approximately a 5-10 minute walk from the terminal, making it an inconvenient option for travellers with luggage.
Coffs Harbour Airport is one of the largest and busiest regional airports in NSW. Passenger numbers have increase from 270,000 to 340,000 in the past 5 years. The airport passenger terminal has recently been upgraded and has daily flights to Sydney served by Qantaslink, Virgin Australia and Tigerair Australia, daily flights to Brisbane served by Brindabella Airlines and twice weekly flights to Melborune served by Virgin Australia. This airport is not huge but does it's job. It has a very long runway for a regional city.
