  • Location: Blangpidie, Southwest Aceh Regency, Aceh, Indonesia. Coordinates are approximately 3°44′04″N 96°47′28″E.
  • Elevation: 1 meter (3 feet) above sea level.
  • Runway: It has an asphalt runway, 16/34, which is 1,800 meters (5,906 feet) long. Historically, the runway was extended to 1,200 meters with a width of 23 meters in 2008, and underwent overlay and facility improvements by April 2019.
  • Operational Status: The airport is operational and has facilitated pioneer air transport services. In 2019, these services ran once a week from April to July, with 15 scheduled flights completed without cancellation.
  • Historical Significance: Originally an airstrip supporting road construction, it became a public airport in 2003. It operated with CASA 212 aircraft by SMAC (Sabang Merauke Air Charter) in April 2004. The airport underwent rehabilitation and reconstruction in 2008 following the Aceh tsunami.
