Bersujud Airport (WAOC/BTW), also known as Batulicin Airport, serves as the primary air gateway to Batu Licin and the wider Tanah Bumbu Regency in South Kalimantan, Indonesia. Its principal role is to support the region's significant economic activities, particularly in coal mining, palm oil plantations, and port logistics. The airport provides essential connectivity for business travelers, company personnel, and government officials, linking this vital industrial hub to other parts of the country and reducing what was once a long and arduous overland journey from larger cities.

Inaugurated in 2005, the airport was a strategic project developed by the local government to stimulate economic growth and improve accessibility to the newly formed Tanah Bumbu Regency. Its establishment marked a key milestone in the area's development, facilitating faster movement of people and attracting investment. The name "Bersujud" reflects a local cultural value, translating to "prostrating in prayer," and underscores the airport's importance to the community. It remains a small-scale, regional facility focused purely on domestic travel.

Located approximately 15 kilometers from the Batulicin city center, the airport is accessible exclusively by road. The journey by car typically takes around 20 to 30 minutes, depending on traffic. Travelers arriving at Bersujud Airport rely on local taxis, pre-arranged private car services, or company-provided vehicles for transport into the city and surrounding industrial areas. Public transportation options directly from the terminal are limited, so arranging onward travel in advance is highly recommended.

Operations at Bersujud are exclusively domestic, handled by a single, modest terminal building. The airport primarily serves routes operated by regional carriers, with Wings Air being the most prominent airline. Flights are typically operated using ATR 72 turboprop aircraft, connecting Batulicin with major hubs like Banjarmasin (BDJ) and Makassar (UPG), from where passengers can connect to a wider national network. Given its small size, passenger facilities are basic, consisting of check-in counters, a simple waiting area, restrooms, and often a small kiosk selling snacks and beverages. Travelers should not expect lounges, extensive retail stores, or a variety of restaurants.

For a smooth travel experience, passengers are advised to arrive 90 minutes before their scheduled departure. Due to the limited amenities, it is practical to eat before heading to the airport. Confirming onward transportation before landing is a crucial step to avoid delays. Having Indonesian Rupiah in cash is useful for paying for taxis and any small purchases at the terminal, as digital payment options may be inconsistent.
