Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals terminal. Reputable, metered companies include Mai Linh (green) and Vinasun (white). A trip to Nha Trang city center is often a fixed price, around 300,000-400,000 VND, and takes 45-60 minutes. Ride-hailing services like Grab are also a popular and often more affordable option, which can be booked via a mobile app.
Self-drive car rental is not common for tourists due to local licensing requirements. The standard practice is to hire a private car with a driver. This service can be pre-booked online, through your hotel, or with local travel agents at the airport. It provides a comfortable, fixed-price transfer directly to your destination.
The most economical option is the airport shuttle bus (Bus Route #18). The bus stop is located just outside the arrivals terminal exit. It runs frequently throughout the day, connecting the airport with various stops in Nha Trang's city center. The fare is approximately 50,000-65,000 VND, and the journey takes about 60-70 minutes.
