Official airport taxis operate on a fixed-price coupon system. Purchase a coupon from the counters inside the arrivals hall before proceeding to the taxi stand. Fares are set for specific destinations, such as Krabi Town (approx. 350 THB) and Ao Nang (approx. 600 THB). Ride-hailing services like Grab are also available, with designated pick-up areas outside the terminal.
Several international and local car rental companies have desks in the arrivals hall, including Avis, Budget, Hertz, Sixt, and Thai Rent a Car. It is highly recommended to book in advance, especially during peak season. An International Driving Permit (IDP) is typically required in addition to your valid home country driver's license.
An official airport shuttle bus service is available, offering an affordable way to reach Krabi Town (approx. 90-100 THB) and Ao Nang (approx. 150 THB). Tickets can be purchased at a counter in the arrivals terminal. The bus makes several stops along the route. Shared minivans are also an option, often running to the same destinations for a similar price.
