Taxis are readily available at the taxi rank located at the Shun Tak Centre. Red 'Urban' taxis serve Hong Kong Island, Kowloon, and the New Territories. Fares are metered, and while cash is standard, many taxis now accept Octopus cards or other electronic payments.
Major car rental companies do not have service counters directly at the Shun Tak Heliport. Visitors would need to pre-book and travel to a nearby rental office, typically in the Central or Wan Chai districts, to pick up a vehicle. Self-driving is generally not recommended for visitors due to Hong Kong's excellent public transport, heavy traffic, and limited, expensive parking.
The heliport is located within the Shun Tak Centre, a major transportation hub with excellent connections. These include:

- Ferries: The building houses the Hong Kong–Macau Ferry Terminal.
- Buses: A major bus terminus is located at the centre with numerous routes serving all of Hong Kong.
