DEAR sir, In Koshi zone there is no airport its become quite difficult for peoples of PURNEA and koshi zone to travel a long distance the nearer airport is very far its about 400km far from PURNEA ..In an EMERGANCY case people suffers a lot to reach DELHI . PURNEA has the highest literarcy about 78% and with highest economy after patna .so it should deserve a AIRPORT..The govr. will have profit by setting a airport overthere..

hi, i have been hearing news about Purnea Airport getting operational soon, but now when i need to go and all the trains are showing WL, i looked for flight to purnea. Thereis a great need of domestic airport in koshi zone dosent matter it is saharsa or purnea.The rush in the trains conecting delhi mumbai, chennai and other major cities tokoshi zone n katihar can describe the need.And also the nepali citizens from eastern nepal go to bagdogra to take flight to indian cites.Domestic airport in this area can develop not only the place but also create direct or indirect job n buisnessto boost economic development.

First of all I congratulate Mr Nitesh Kumar for making Bihar a progressive state..a state that is an inspiraton for other states...i would rather say nation.Well am here to give a wise suggestion regarding upgradation of Purnea airport located at chunapur.Purnea is developing district of Eastern Bihar without any doubt with lot of professional people residing here along with business men who have to constantly move to Delhi,Calcutta,patna,Mumbai etc.Besides considering tourist point of view it is the nearest semi metro state located near Nepal and Bangladesh which can give boost to job option to local people.It has well connectivity with NH 81 and Katihar railway station,the second most flourished station after Patna with Rajdhani on daily basis.Opening of domestic Airport will definately will be a boon for districts of Eastern Bihar like Bhagalpur,katihar,Saharsa,Madhepura,Kishanganj,Forbesganj,Araria,Jogbani,Muzaffarpur. Etc.Till now people of these regions have to go to Bhagdogra to catch flight as it is nearer than Patna which is a monetary loss for the state.Thus it is a request to kindly look into the matter.
