🇮🇳 Pasighat Airport

Pasighat Airport (VEPG/IXT) is a public airport serving Pasighat, Arunachal Pradesh, India. It is operated by the Airports Authority of India.

• Location: Approximately 3 km (1.9 mi) from the town center, beside the Brahmaputra River. Its coordinates are 28°04′06.5″N 095°20′04.3″E.
• Runway Information: It has one asphalt runway, designated 16/34, measuring 2,060 meters (6,760 ft). Other sources indicate the runway is 17/35 and 3,300 ft (1,006 m) long.
• Historical Significance: The airstrip was originally laid down during the Sino-Indian War in 1962. The Indian Air Force (IAF) took over the airstrip in 2010 and upgraded it, with a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter landing there in 2016 as part of the inauguration.
• Usage: While the IAF uses the airstrip, the Airports Authority of India operates a civil enclave. Commercial flights commenced in May 2018 under the UDAN regional connectivity scheme, with Alliance Air operating ATR aircraft.
