Ratanakiri Airport (IATA: RBE, ICAO: VDRK) serves Ratanakiri, KH.
Ratanakiri Airport (IATA: RBE, ICAO: VDRK) is a public airport located on the western edge of Ban Lung town in Ratanakiri Province, Cambodia.
The airport was built in the 1960s and was operational until the 1970s when it was abandoned due to war. It was rediscovered in the 1990s by local airlines. In November 2005, a PMT Air flight from Phnom Penh had a minor accident, causing the right main landing gear to collapse, but there were no fatalities. Following this incident and a more serious crash elsewhere in 2007, PMT Air ceased regular commercial flights to Ratanakiri.
Currently, Ratanakiri Airport does not have scheduled passenger service. It is used only for chartered and private flights. The airport has one unlighted dirt runway, 18/36, which is approximately 1,300 meters (4,265 feet) long.
