Note: Voronezh Airport (VOZ) has been closed for civilian flights since February 2022. When operational, taxi services are a primary option. Official taxi desks are located in the arrivals hall. Ride-hailing apps, predominantly Yandex.Go, are widely used and can be booked upon arrival. The trip to Voronezh city center is approximately 20 km and takes about 30-45 minutes, depending on traffic.
Note: The airport is currently closed to civilian flights. When open, car rental services are available. Desks for several rental companies, mostly Russian and local providers, are typically found in the arrivals area. It is highly recommended to book a vehicle in advance, especially during peak seasons. A valid driver's license, passport, and credit card are required; an International Driving Permit (IDP) is often necessary for foreign drivers.
Note: The airport is currently closed to civilian flights. When the airport is operating, the most economical option is public bus No. 120. This route connects the airport terminal with the main railway station, Voronezh-1, making several stops along the way. The bus stop is located directly outside the terminal building. The journey to the city center can take over an hour depending on traffic and stops.
