Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center Heliport (US-9419) in Fort Myers, US, is closed due to the cessation of operations of its associated hospital. The Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, initially established in April 1974 as Fort Myers Community Hospital, closed in March 2009. This closure was part of a merger with Gulf Coast Hospital, leading to the creation of the expanded Gulf Coast Medical Center. The decision stemmed from the deteriorated condition of the original building, making renovation less feasible than constructing a new facility.

Historically, the Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center was a 400-bed general acute care hospital offering extensive medical services, including specialized treatments such as those from its heart institute, which was incorporated during its enlargement in 1981. The heliport would have been a critical component of its operations, facilitating emergency patient transport.

The site of the former medical center, and by extension its heliport, was demolished in November 2009 and subsequently redeveloped into a distribution center for medical supplies.
