Albany Field serves Albany, US.

Albany Field (US-7943) was the original municipal airport for Albany, Georgia, located less than two miles southwest of the city center. Its earliest depiction was in a 1929 Commerce Department Airway Bulletin, showing two loam runways and no hangars. The field was replaced by a larger Albany Airport (now Southwest Georgia Regional Airport) located 1.5 miles further southwest between 1943 and 1945,. In 1947, the 69-acre tract of land comprising the old Albany Airport was sold to the St. Louis National League baseball club for use as a spring training ground, and by 1956, the site was depicted as "Cardinal Field" with no airfield features remaining,. A 2016 aerial view showed no trace of Albany Field.
