Simpson Airport serves Havre, US.
Simpson Airport (US-7392) in Havre, Montana, originally opened as Simpson Air Force Station in 1951. It was a Cold War Air Force Radar Station, later renamed Havre Air Force Station in 1953, and was integrated into the SAGE system in 1961,. The station ceased operations on July 1, 1979, due to the lessening threat from a Soviet bomber fleet and the mothballing of the BUIC system,. The site was re-opened in 1986 as a SAC electronic bomb scoring site but closed again in the mid/late 1990s and is currently for sale.
