Trohs Skypark Airport serves Portland, US.
Trohs Skypark (US-3943), located near Portland, Oregon, was a private airport that operated from 1946 to 1959. It was founded by Henry Troh and Harold Wagner, opening on June 30, 1946, with an airshow. The airport offered services such as flight instruction (including a G.I. Bill flight school), aircraft sales, aerial photography, advertising with lighted aircraft and banner towing, ambulance, and charter flights. Blimps, like the Mobilgas blimp, were also based there for special events.
The airport closed in June 1959 due to increasing municipal taxes and the construction of a new retirement community. As of an aerial photo from August 21, 2011, no trace of Troh's Airport remained at its former site, which was northeast of the intersection of Division Street and Southeast 182nd Avenue.
